High School Girls’ Soccer Results, September 25-30

Shorecrest and Shorewood are tied for second place at the halfway mark of the Western Conference 3A soccer season.
Both teams have 5-2 Wesco 3A records and 5-4 overall records after both lost last week to division leader Glacier Peak (7-0 Wesco 3A, 8-0-1 overall).
Shorewood resumes Wesco 3A play at Lynnwood Tuesday, Oct. 5 at 7:30 p.m. Shorecrest plays Meadowdale, Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Edmonds Stadium. Also Thursday, Shorewood, plays host to Mountlake Terrace at 7 p.m. at Shoreline Stadium,


Saturday, September 25

Shorecrest 2, Shorewood 0 
Bri Lasconia and Nicole Harris scored unassisted goals, and Ashley Beeson and Frida Swensen combined for the shutout as Shorecrest beat Shorewood, 2-0, at Shoreline Stadium.

Tuesday, September 28
Glacier Peak 3, Shorecrest 2 (Shootout)
Harris and Melissa Ruhlman scored unassisted first-half goals at Glacier Peak before Glacier Peak tied the game in the second half and won in a shootout.

Shorewood 6, Oak Harbor 0 Jennifer Franklin scored two goals; Mackenzie Bang had a goal and an assist; Lisa Santroch, Hannah Clements and Zoe Vincini scored goals; Lisa Echert had two assists; and Katy Penrod had an assist in Shorewood’s 6-0 victory at Shoreline Stadium. Karlie Leclair and Kelsey Jang combined for the shutout.

Thursday, September 30

Monroe 3, Shorecrest 0Monroe of the Wesco 4A North Division (5-3 overall) shut out Shorecrest, 3-0, in a non-conference game in Monroe. 
Glacier Peak 2, Shorewood 1
Jennifer Franklin scored an unassisted first-half goal to give Shorewood a 1-0 lead at Glacier Peak before Glacier Peak scored two second-half goals for the victory.
