Activities on N 185th Street; pouring driveways and sidewalks
Crews will continue pouring sidewalks and driveways on the south side of N 185th Street. A single eastbound lane will continue to be closed until sidewalks and driveways are completed. Crews hope to open the Bartell Drugs driveway on N 185th Street this week. In the meantime, please continue to use Midvale Avenue to access Bartell Drugs and the Gateway complex. Pedestrians should take care when walking near construction areas and follow posted detour signs.

Interurban Trail opening soon at N 185th Street
The Interurban Trail in the area of N 185th Street and Aurora will potentially be opening this week. Pedestrians should take care to not walk on the shoulder of Aurora north of N 185th Street; instead, please use the Interurban Trail located just east of Dunn Lumber and Sky Nursery. Thanks to everyone for your diligence in following pedestrian detour routes; your patience and care when walking around construction zones is appreciated.

Construction activities north of N 185th Street
Crews will continue removing asphalt and installing driveways on Aurora just north of N 185th Street and will begin grading in preparation for curb and a bus pad installation.

Activities on N 175th Street
Crews will continue installing root boxes, signal bases, sidewalks and driveways. Some structural components of the old Key Bank building found underground in the right-of-way have been complicating final sidewalk installation on N 175th Street; this issue should be resolved soon. The Interuban Trail adjacent to Midvale Avenue is still temporarily closed between N 175th Street and the north driveway to Walgreens.

Temporary partial or full closure of access to N 170th Street from Aurora
Puget Sound Energy (PSE) crews will be relocating gas lines in the vicinity of N 170th Street west of Aurora on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. PSE has not yet determined the space needed to complete this work, but it could result in a partial or full closure of access between N 170th Street and Aurora. Drivers and pedestrians should look for closure or detour signage.

Construction activities on the west side of Aurora between N 165th and N 175th
Crews will continue to install storm lines, utility vaults and the joint utility trench in City right-of-way on the west side of Aurora between N 165th and N 175th Streets. As usual, two lanes of traffic in each direction on Aurora will be maintained during this work.

Ronald Wastewater construction work on Aurora
Ronald Wastewater will continue installing underground pipe on Aurora between N 192nd and N 195th Streets, unrelated to the Aurora Corridor Project. Ronald Wastewater will temporarily close one northbound lane on Aurora from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. through mid-October.
