Shorewood swim team overwhelms opponents at September 23 meet

Prep swimming: Shorewood 157, Lynnwood 25, Meadowdale 43.

At Shoreline pool Thursday September 23 

The Shorewood girls' swim team overwhelmed their opponents in a tri-meet. Although both Lynnwood and Meadowdale had some very good swimmers, the Tbird squad's talent and depth was too much for either team to overcome. 

The scoring was based as if it were a dual meet with Lynnwood and Meadowdale against Shorewood only and not against each other.

Some of Shorewood's winners based on scoring against Lynnwood: 200 medley relay - Shorewood (Shelby Adams, Mia Young, Emily Blaylock, Megan Ransom); 200 freestyle- Anni Hecker; 200 individual medley - Mia Young; 50 freestyle- Alicia Hoverson; Diving- Sariha McIntyre; 100 butterfly-Emily Blaylock; 100 freestyle-Samantha Pridemore; 500 freestyle- Alicia Hoverson; 200 freestyle relay- Shorewood (Emily Blaylock, Annika Stenfjord, Tyanna DeNova, Anni Hecker); 100 backstroke- Elli McIntyre; 100 breaststroke- Jordon Mullen; 400 freestyle relay- Shorewood (Alicia Hoverson, Annika Stenfjord, Shelby Adams, Anni Hecker). 

For the season Shorewood's record stands now at 3-0 in the league and 3-1 overall.
