The Shorewood boys tennis team was led with strong wins by their number one singles team captain Hunter Nelson and and number one doubles with team captain Ellis Miyaoka and doubles partner Matt Buswell. The Shorewood team defeated Shorecrest 5 - 1. Shorewood is 1-0 in league to start the season. They have two very tough home matches on Thursday Sept. 9 versus Glacier Peak and Friday Sept. 10 versus non-conference opponent Edmonds - Woodway. Shorewood home tennis matches are held at Shoreview Park in Shoreline and start at 3:45 pm. Shorewood is part of a new WESCO 3A league this year.
