Shoreline Community College Soccer Opens Season Against Tacoma

The SCC Men’s Soccer Team opens the season on Saturday against Tacoma Community College at the SCC Field, located at the North end of the campus.

The Shoreline squad finished second in the NWAACC Northern Region in 2009 and hosted a first round playoff game, but lost to Highline CC in that game 5-2. SCC hopes to improve on that play this season and get beyond the first round of the NWAACC Playoffs.

SCC returns several sophomores from 2009 squad that finished 7-9-1 overall and 6-6-1 in the region. The team also added several talented freshmen this year and should be a very athletic team.
