Shoreline CC Women's Volleyball Finishes Second NWAACC Crossover

The Shoreline Community College Volleyball Team went 4-2 in the NWAACC Crossover Tournament in Auburn, WA at Green River Community College. The Lady Dolphins dropped the championship match to Green River in five games, 25-17, 23-25, 14-25, 25-15, 11-15. GRCC also defeated SCC during the round robin stages of the tournament. SCC defeated Yakima Valley CC in the semi-finals, 25-18, 25-23, 26-24, to advance to the finals. Shoreline defeated Big Bend CC, Umpqua CC and Yakima Valley in the round robin part of the tournament.

SCC is 11-6 on the season, matching the number of the wins for the entire season in 2009. The Lady Dolphins host Edmonds community College on Wednesday night in the SCC Gym in the opening game of Northern Region play for both teams. Game time is 7:00 pm. Adult Admission, $5.00, Non-SCC students are $3.00 and SCC students attend free.
