LFP City Administrator is finalist for Issaquah position

According to a story in the IssaquahPress.com, Lake Forest Park City Administrator David Cline is one of the finalists for the position of Issaquah City Administrator.

The city hired a head-hunting firm, which sent information to over 800 officials of comparable-sized cities in 11 Western states. Of 50 applications received, five were chosen for the extensive interview process.

The mayor of Issaquah, Ava Frisinger, said she hopes to hire an administrator by next month. The position requires City Council approval. The next administrator stands to earn $124,500 to $158,916 plus benefits.

Besides Cline, finalists are Thurston County Manager Donald Krupp, San Juan County Administrator Pete Rose, Yakima Assistant City Manager David Zabell, and the city manager of Wyoming, Ohio.

Cline has been the City Administrator of LFP since 2007. Before that he was the interim City Manager of the City of Burien. He grew up near Issaquah.
