Hawaiian Hula evening classes offered at the Senior Center

Hula instructor Kathy DeAguair
Evening Hula classes begin Monday, September 13, 6-7 pm with instructor Kathy DeAguair.

Class fees are $8.00 for Senior Center members and $10 for non-Senior Center members.

Travel to the islands through dance when you learn the art of Hawaiian Hula. Women and men of all ages feel the benefits as this social art form introduces dancers to new friends, broadens cultural horizons and helps develop coordination, grace, flexibility and stamina. Learn the motions and steps of a descriptive dance and some Hawaiian vocabulary.

The instructor is a native of Hawaii, a trained Kumu (teacher) who has been dancing since she was a 5 year old in Kailua on the island of Oahu. She has studios in Greenwood, Shoreline and Everett.

Pre-register at the Senior Center or call 206-365-1536, or just come by the Center on the first day of class.
