Frank Colacurcio, Jr. is the son of the late Frank Colacurcio, Sr. of Lake Forest Park.
The family owned four strip clubs, including Sugar's in Shoreline and Rick's in North Seattle on Lake City Way. Sugar's has been closed down since the first indictments against six members of the organization in June 2009. See the Seattle Times story.

By Christine ClarridgeIn a deal that dismantles what's left of the notorious Colacurcio strip-club empire, Frank Colacurcio Jr. pleaded guilty to a racketeering conspiracy charge that will cost him $1.3 million in cash and likely land him in prison for a year and a day.In exchange for his admission of guilt in U.S. District Court in Seattle on Friday, prosecutors agreed to dismiss several other charges against him.Colacurcio Jr., 48, was the heir apparent to the family's adult-entertainment business, which was targeted repeatedly by city regulators and law enforcement over the years.

2 items of clarification ... first, Rick's was NOT located in Lake Forest Park, it was in north Seattle. Second, great that you picked up this story from the Times, but the Times seems to have forgotten that Frank Colacurcio Sr.passed away in July 2010. (As they themselves reported on July 2,2010.)
What is going to happen to the Sugar's property, which has apparently been seized by the government? Could it be used for the museum?
Whenever I drive past Sugar's, I think that the only thing worse than an operating strip club in your neighborhood is an abandonded strip club.
Who is responsible for the physical plant right now? At least when it was in operation, it was maintained and there were few loiterers outside.

Until sentencing, the property was in limbo, the federal government did not own it.
It's not in terrible condition and there are actually very few loiterers. People wanted operations shutdown and it has been for a over a year, what more do you want? The wheels of justice are known to turn slowly, to use a very shopworn phrase.
What about the Fuji/Old Country Buffet? That place is shutdown and there be loiters about in that location as well.
I want to know when they are going to make the burned out shell across the street from Sugars, where there was the huge arson fire, the property owners should demolish and clear the site - now that is is not only a real eyesore but a public danger.
I heard there was underage prostitution going on at Sugar’s, does anyone have any info on that?
