Back to school event volunteers needed

Saturday, August 28 from 1 - 4 pm is this year’s Back to School Event distribution at North City Elementary. Volunteers are needed:

• Monday - Friday, August 23-27 (next week) to assist with packing backpacks and sorting clothing donations.

• Saturday, August 28th to help with different aspects of the event

If you would like to volunteer, visit the Back to School Consortium website, click on the Volunteer Opportunities page and click on the green “VolunteerSpot” button at the end of the list of volunteer needs.

Donations of backpacks and school supplies can still be dropped off all this week at the Center for Human Services, 17018 15th Avenue NE, Shoreline.

Families must register to receive assistance. The deadline for registration is Friday, August 20th.
