A Lake Forest Park woman was robbed and stabbed early Monday as she was walking near Lake Forest Park Elementary School.
According to Lake Forest Park police, the woman was walking alone about 1 am when she was approached by two men who shined a bright flashlight in her eyes. They robbed her of three earrings and her wedding band and then stabbed her in her lower back before fleeing in a car. She was taken to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The woman told police one of the suspects said the word "luna" about five times during the incident, which could have been the nickname of the suspect or a code word.
One suspect was described as 5 feet, 9 inches tall, clean shaven with short hair and wearing blue jeans. The second suspect was described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall and chubby with acne or injury scarring on his face. Both are in their early 20s and Hispanic.
Anyone with information is asked to call Det. Steve Parken at 206-957-2860.
