Sunset Park / Boeing Creek Open Space events and activities

Sunday, May 9, 2010

You are invited to participate in the following Sunset Park/Boeing Creek Open Space events and activities:

  • Community Open House
    Tuesday, May 18, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Behind Sunset School, under the covered play area

Come view the design and progress of the park plans. Members of the Design Team, City of Shoreline, and Shoreline School District will be there with updated information and to answer questions.

(Because Richmond Little League activities will be happening at the same time, we encourage you to walk or share a ride--and please don't park on 8th Avenue NW!)

  • Boeing Creek Open Space Ivy Out Party
    Saturday, May 22, 9 a.m. to noon

Help take the first steps to making this a wonderful community place by removing invasive ivy while getting to know the space and your neighbors!

Bring gloves if you've got ‘em. People under 18 must have a release form signed by a parent or guardian; the forms will be available that morning at the site. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Complete a Visioning Process Survey

If you live in Shoreline and/or been a part of the planning process for the Sunset/Boeing Creek Open Space sites, the Pomegranate Center would appreciate your participation in a 5- to 15-minute survey.

Your opinions will help Pomegranate Center, a non-profit organization, understand the impact of neighborhood gathering places and public parks. Please follow the link below to share your thoughts anonymously.
