The SCC Baseball Team dropped 3 of 4 to Douglas College during the weekend of April 24-25. The Dolphins were looking to turn around their season after facing some of the best competition in the NWAACC Northern Division.
SCC won on the opening game of the series, 5-2, behind the solid pitching of Brady Summers #17 and Luke Englert #9, but then the SCC squad dropped 3 straight close games, 3-2, 6-4 and 4-3.
Shoreline is now 14-16 overall, 4-12 in the Northern Region.
SCC has this weekend off in a bye weekend of the region schedule and faces rival Everett Community College on May 8 and 9. May 8 will be in Everett and May 9 at Lower Woodland Park, home to the Dolphins. Game time is 1 pm for both games and admission is free to the games at Lower Woodland.
