Two of three Shoreline School District ballot measures passing; bond close

The three Shoreline School District propositions on the February 9 ballot all were ahead Tuesday night, with operations and technology levies easily exceeding the required 50 percent majorities and the school-construction bond running barely ahead of the required 60 percent supermajority. 
Results as of the 8:15 Tuesday ballot count:

Ballots Cast/Registered Voters: * 13342 / 42352 31.50%
Proposition No. 1 Replacement of Expiring Levy for Educational Programs, Maintenance and
Operations
YES 9037 68.09%
NO 4235 31.91%
Proposition No. 2 Bonds for Modernization/Replacement of Shorecrest and Shorewood High
Schools
APPROVED 7707 60.83%
REJECTED 4963 39.17%
Proposition No. 3 Capital Levy for Technology Improvements and Support
YES 8174 64.37%
NO 4524 35.63%
