SCC Men's Basketball Defeats Skagit Valley 80-70

The SCC Men's Basketball Team went on the road Wednesday to Skagit Valley College in Mt. Vernon, WA and won 80-70. The Dolphins used a balanced attack with 5 players in double figures to win their 15th game of the year. SCC was up by one at half-time 36-35, and pushed the lead up to 20+ in the second half, and held on for a 10 point victory.

Sean Jones led Shoreline with 18 points and 8 rebounds, Jesse Vaughan followed with 13 points while Ryan McCorkle and Spencer Wozeniak added 11 each and Jesse Holifield scored 10.

Shoreline is now 15-4 on the season, 9-2 in the NWAACC Northern Region and leads Whatcom CC by one game for the division lead. SCC and Whatcom play next Wednesday in the Homecoming Game at the SCC Gym. Shoreline faces North Seattle on Saturday also in the SCC Gym. Game time is 4 pm.
