Ronald Wastewater sewer mainline replacement project

Friday, February 12, 2010

By Michael U. Derrick
General Manager
Ronald Wastewater District

Ronald Wastewater is in the process of replacing the sanitary sewer mainlines at the locations listed below. If the home owners whose private sewers connect to the mainline wish it, Ronald will replace their private side sewers at no additional cost to them. The home owner will need only to sign a Right-of-Entry document allowing Ronald to do the work.

The utility is planning to complete all these project this year. The contracts for the 2008 and 2009 work has gone to Landis and Landis Construction (2008 contract cost $457,719.98; 2009 contract cost $509,200.00). The 2008 project is almost complete; the 2009 project will be starting in a week or two. The 2010 projects are still in the drawing/design phase and hopefully will start construction this summer. The plan is to undertake at least two of these type projects each year for the next 10 or so years. If any one would like more information about the projects they may contact me at 206-546-2494
or email.
