The King County Library System levy appeared to be passing in vote totals released Wednesday afternoon.
The Wednesday vote count showed the levy with a 51.13 percent “yes” vote, compared to 50.51 percent Tuesday.
Ballots came from voters in all of King County except for Seattle, Renton, Enumclaw, Hunts Point and Yarrow Point -- cities that aren't part of the King County Library System. The System also includes a portion of Bothell that is in Snohomish County.
The votes came from 31 percent of registered voters. County elections officials had predicted a 35 percent turnout.
The next count will be released at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
