Construction Update
Cromwell Park Construction continues. This month there will be big changes at the park. The backstop and the dug outs for the baseball diamond are now complete. The baseball field has been graded and irrigation installed. The storm water retention pond and created wetland areas have been graded and planted with native vegetation. Beds have been planted and trees have been installed. Pathways have been graded and prepared for paving. Concrete pads for the stage at the amphitheatre, benches, picnic tables and trash receptacles have been poured. The stage, benches and picnic tables will be installed. Asphalt pathways will be paved. The concrete pad for the restroom should be underway.
This spring the field, grassy knoll, and a lawn amphitheatre will be seeded. The basketball court, restroom and play equipment will be installed later this spring. The lawn and field areas will remain closed until well the grass is established; however, a dedication is planned this summer.
