UPDATED: Shorewood girls took 69-38 loss at Lynnwood Friday into game at Mountlake Terrace Tuesday

Update: The Tuesday game has been postponed, due to weather.

The Shorewood girls’ basketball team toqa 4-4 Western Conference 3A record (5-7 overall) into a game at Mountlake Terrace Tuesday after a 69-38 loss at Lynnwood Friday.

Mountlake Terrace took a 2-8 Wesco 3A record (4-10 overall) into the game with Shorewood. 

Shorewood plays host to Oak Harbor Thursday and Shorecrest Saturday.

  

In Shorewood’s 69-38 loss to Lynnwood, (8-2, 10-3), the Thunderbirds trailed 18-13 after the first quarter, 38-24 at halftime and 55-38 after three quarters before the Hawks outscored the T-birds 14-0 in the final period. Masha Shtikel led Shorewood with 14 points. The Shorewood junior varsity (4-4, 5-7) won 41-35. 

Shtikel leads the Thunderbirds for the season with 170 points in 12 games for an average of 14.2 points per game.
